The Machine Tool Builder Turning is a modeling tool for the geometry, kinematics, and technology of lathes. This modeling tool consists of appropriate basic modules and of additional turning-specific modules. As output of the modeling tool a machine specification file is generated which then functions as input for the CNC-3D Turning.
The Controller Builder Turning is a configurable NC control interface for the adaptation to the market relevant NC controls. A standard set of configurable cycles and ISO-NC commands are to be implemented here to represent the majority of the NC commands of external controls. In addition to this, STA supplies an API to be used for the implementation of more advanced NC commands and macros of external controls.
